Babyland is closing

I am sad to hear that Babyland is closing at the end of this month. I remember as a kid knowing I was getting a great gift if someone showed up at my birthday with a present wrapped in their wrapping paper. Gifts from Babyland were always the best. When I was invited to birthday parties I always asked my mom to take me there to buy something since the selection was so great.

Oh no! I love Babyland.

Didn't know this. Suki's is also closing - will miss them both. Have memories of getting lots of horse figures at Babyland for our daughter when she was young.

I was so sad to hear this. I always enjoyed shopping there and did so for over 35 years. The owners deserve their well-earned retirement.

I am very sad about this, too, especially since I found out in the same day that Happy Feet had already closed! Two of my regular stores -- gone or going soon! We love Babyland, and have bought all sorts of presents for our kids and others there (including a lot of horses). You could always find something good, no matter who you were shopping for. And the owners are such nice people! In talking with them, I learned that they had hoped their daughter would take over the store when they retired, but she doesn't want to. So, they are closing. I wish them the best, and hope that they have as much happiness in retirement as they have brought all of us!

I love that store too. I wonder if they considered selling the business?

Today was the last day for Babyland. It was a great toy store run by the nicest people. They will be missed.
