Aztech Management Asbestos Removal

I just received a quote from Aztech Asbestos Removal to remove asbestos from the heating pipes in my basement.  The owner was a bit weird but the price seems reasonable.  Anyone have experience with this contractor? Thanks!

They did my abatement 8 years ago.  Professional and reasonably priced.  They provided an air quality report at the end too.  The only problem I had was that the ceiling in my basement had been finished with plaster after the asbestos was originally installed.  So some of the asbestos covered pipes went up into the ceiling.  Most of these, they simply sealed off rather than remove enough plaster and lathe to get the asbestos out of the ceiling.  It's a minor detail, but I would rather have had it all gone.  I suppose I should have told them it was OK to remove whatever they needed to in order to get it all, so I take some of the blame.  All in all, I would recommend them.

I would highly recommend them, as they did the asbestos removal that was mandated in my house inspection.  They did it in a way that was the least expensive to me, and even covered an outside water pipe in foam and didn't charge me.  The workers were professional and courteous and they left the basement as clean as when they found it.  Good luck!

Agree with the above recommendations.

How much did it cost?

I think the minimum is $500 and that was what they charged me since it was only a few pipes in the basement and under the kitchen bumpout.

we just used them back in the fall after asbestos floor tiles were uncovered in our basement. They were very responsive, thorough, and the price much better than I expected going in.  definitely recommend.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
