Anyone else's Fios turning off and on?

Over the past three days Fios has cut out and then come back on within a few minutes at least 5 times. Is anyone else having this problem?

My mother's is totally off - worked this morning now she has no phone/tv/internet. Verizon coming by tomorrow.

Ours is off as well. Spoke to FIOS and told them others in the area are out but they said it's not town-related. Not sure I believe that since our power was off until 7am and our cable was working up until around 12:15pm today.

Yes, and FiOS is lying about it, denying any reports. I've tried to time my calls to them with the outages.

The outages started with the first misting. They can have issues with water leaking into certain boxes. But they lie about it so they don't fix it.

We have been out since about noon. They said it was a power related issue and no one else in the area reported issues. Someone is coming out Tuesday.

Not that i would want to disuade anyone from believing that Verizon is a bunch of liars, but I woke this morning to find my apartment had lost power around 06:30 am

I have had this problem with Fios off and on for months. The fade-out must be very short, as some computers don't register it at all. The work computer however is completely stymied, and must be laboriously restarted, usually at a time when I am frantic with something else.

Cms78,

That's interesting they said no one else reported an issue when three of us have reported an issue on this chat. They're coming to my house Tuesday as well.

hk45,

did Verizon FIOS come to your house yesterday? Is your service back on? Mine is still out, waiting on them to come today.

yes - they showed on Monday and replaced both the battery box and power supply and all is well.

@hk45 Same issue here as well. They came Monday.

Thank you hk45. They came by me yesterday, gave a time span of 1-5pm and showed up at 5pm. Replaced box and power supply and all's well.

Sorry, folks. It was me. I was wondering what that light switch did...
