Access and parking restricted

Starting August 10 access to the Village Coffee parking lot will be blocked from Baker St.  Maplewood Avenue entry will remain open.  Sanitary sewer lines for the businesses on Maplewood Avenue will be the order of the day.  At various times during the construction parking will not be allowed from Village Coffee to Baker St

This is per the Village Green ,  Saturday post

The Township's email blast states
"...for first phase of work on the sanitary sewer line that services existing businesses and residences along Maplewood Avenue."
Isn't that new sewer line going thru the rear parking lot (behind Village Coffee) which is primarily for the new development at the PO site?  You know, the one we taxpayers are paying for at the tune of 60K for the benefit of the developer...?

So why not state that it is part of the PO construction?

Because none of the information you reference has anything whatsoever to do with the reason for the notification and may/will obscure the point of the message?

I get several texts a day about road construction all around Maplewood, but didn't receive this email "blast."  Where can I sign up for these informative emails?

Sewers carry waste away - I'd be glad to have 'em

Superfluous.  When a road or parking lot is closing I NEED to know where and when And for how long.  I may WANT additional information (like the type of asphalt being used, the manufacturer of the heavy equipment employed, or why it's being closed), but that's why I have a phone.
