A Very Odd Congressional Election

The incumbent Democratic Congressman is "Pro-Life". One of the most "conservative" Democrats in Congress. His Primary challenger is "Pro-Choice" and Progressive.

The Republican Candidate is a Nazi. This is not hyperbole. He admits participating in a Nazi march. He says the Holocaust is a myth.

Yeah this Jones guy snuck in by going for the Republican nomination in a safe Democratic district. No legit Republican candidate was emerging. I think by their own rules the GOP is stuck with this loon as their standard bearer. 

The website doesn't detail how much he's gotten in campaign contributions.

It makes me wonder if we could see some kook run for office around Blue SOMA as a Republican knowing they could probably sew up the nomination with little opposition. They would have almost no chance of winning but they could certainly make a name for themselves in the community. 

His candidacy will hurt the Republicans overall.
