"End of the Day" tea needed

Suggestions for something to sip on, hot, that is interesting and flavorful but not caffeinated? Ideally, something with nice strong flavors that doesn't taste artificial.

Trader Joe's has a nice selection of non-caffeine teas like this:

Could also go to Teavana in Short Hills Mall and smell their offerings...

We are obsessed with Marketspice decaf tea in our household. Evening ritual for all. Only problem is: mail-order only, from Seattle (actually, supposedly there might be somewhere near-ish-by that carries it, but nothing convenient). Let me know if you'd like a sample, kmk! It's supposedly orange-cinnamon, but the flavor is more intriguing than that. It's soooo good, but I might not be the best judge, since I'm  not a tea drinker in general. Very strong flavor.

zucca, Amazon sells marketspice tea. I love it.

I usually go with a Lemon/Ginger at the end of the day.  Or an Islay Scotch.

Celestial Seasonings peppermint, Tension Tamer, Sleepytime or Lemon Zinger, and decaffeinated Constant Comment.

Both Lemon Lift and Constant Comment are available decaffeinated - they are two of my favorite teas!

I also like green tea with peach flavors, but not especially in the late evenings.

by a certain time of day, I go decaf...and I looked at what I have in stock and a lot of it are different Republic of Tea selections...Ginger Peach "Longevity", Apricot Honey, Ginger Peach White Tea, Get Relaxed (lavender among other herbs), to name a few.

Thank you all!  @zucca may have hit a home run with her recommendation.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my holiday evening beverage of choice so much that the bottle is empty ;-)  (Compass Box, Orangerie - Scotch) Time to switch over to the "light" stuff for a bit.

The idea of an orange tea is a perfect segue from the orange-scented Scotch.  (I love the sound of an apricot tea as well.)  I will report back after I have had it for a few nights!

That is true, mem. I'm always torn between ordering from Amazon, which ships it quickly, and ordering from Marketspice, which takes any weird amount of time. I prefer ordering from the source, as long as I don't run out in the meantime. It doesn't seem like they are set up to do a lot of mail order business, despite that you can order from their website.

I love this Good Earth tea:

I'm not a big fan of those sweet/spicy teas, as I find they tend to be a bit cloying. If you're looking for something a little more mellow, I'd go with mint, chamomile, or rooibos. kmk, I have loose rooibus tea and I'd be happy to give you a small jar full if you want to try it, but you'll need a fine-mesh tea ball to steep it.

Funny, I drink decaf coffee, but don't find the caffeine of tea to affect my ability to sleep, maybe because I tend to go to bed quite late. In the evening, we enjoy either jasmine green or oolong tea.

kmk, let me know if you want to try before you buy. If you do get some Marketspice tea, keep it in glass, in the fridge. That's what they recommend. Don't try keeping it in plastic. Strange things will happen.

@zucca, I had some other things in my Amazon.com cart so I just added the Marketspice tea (bags) as well.  Should be here tomorrow!

Do you mean keep the loose tea in a glass container or brewed tea?  I did see some folks mentioning that this variety seems to be a perishable blend and not to order too much at one time.

I adore Stash Lemon Ginger tea.  It is much spicier than other brands I've tried.

For decaf flavored black teas, I really enjoy Stash's Chai Tea for a comforting, strongly spiced tea, and Bigelow's Constant Comment Tea for something more subtlety flavored.

Also, The Republic of Tea makes an incredible Ginger Peach tea that is amazing hot or iced.  They have a decaf version that is just as tasty.

Those sound good, @pdg!

Just the loose tea or teabags, @kmk. We try to keep one vacuum-packed bag in the freezer, but not much more than that. If you don't like it, I'll buy it from you.

Another thing I'd like to try to make is the cold cinnamon drink served at Korean restaurants. Yum!

So how do you like the Marketspice tea, @kmk?

@zucca, love it!  It is strangely "spicy" and SO full flavored....can't describe it. I am experimenting with steeping times and amounts of honey to get it just right.

I am in full apricot preserves, lemon cookies and (now) orange tea mode over here.  Just trying to bring a little summer back!

I'm so glad you like it! I've been steeping for 5 (+) minutes. Let me know what you decide is best. And I've never tried with honey. Maybe I'll have to try that!

Take a trip to Teavana in Short Hills Mall some time. They're selections are varied, interesting, and delicious! I always come out with some amazing selections, AND, if you're unsure about a flavor, you can have them make you a cup to buy.
