A yoga practice will help prevent injuries by increasing your flexibility and bringing balance to your body. It will improve your performance by strengthening your whole body. In this workshop we will explore poses that increase range of motion, improve flexibility, and stretch out tight, over-used muscles. We will focus on hamstrings, quadriceps, hips, core and lower back strength, and breath. We will cover alignment principles and modifications that will keep you safe in the studio and on the trail. We will also discuss how to incorporate a regular yoga practice into an existing running routine.
