Jersey-born Sommore, “The Diva of Contemporary Comedy,” hosts an evening of laughs, with appearances by comedians Bill Bellamy, Tommy Davidson and Tony Rock. With a winning combination of class and sass, Sommore is frank and fearless in her hilarious and piercing look at today’s issues. Oprah Winfrey proclaimed her “a force to be reckoned with in the new millennium.” The first female host of BET’s ComicView, Sommore has also hosted Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam and Showtime at the Apollo. Her television appearances have included roles on The Hughleys and The Parkers.
