Teen Creative Writing Workshop

Aspiring young writers will learn and have a great deal of fun in this creative Writing Workshop for teens between 12 and 17 years of age. The four-week course will be conducted by author/writer/editor Sonya Kimble-Ellis at Geralyn\'s Art Studio. Students will develop their skills in poetry, essays, short stories, and more. Course dates are Tuesday evenings between 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Dates are March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. Pre-registration for workshop, which is $100 per student, is required. As an editor and writer, her articles have appeared in Scholastic\'s classroom magazines, Patch, Matters, the NY Daily News, and other publications and Web sites. She is currently a writing facilitator with the developmentally disabled.
