S. Mt. Conservancy Annual Public Meeting

The South Mountain Conservancy Annual Public Meeting on at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker Street. Join others interested in the environment and maintaining the Reservation. Learn about 2012 accomplishments and volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups in forest regeneration, building new trails, Trash Tacklers, and Trailkeepers, and joining a free hike. The meeting will feature guest speaker Michael Van Clef, Ph.D., of Ecological Solutions. Dr. Van Clef has wide experience assisting New Jersey parks control invasive plant species, measure the effects of excessive deer browsing, and implement conservation strategies. He will speak on \"Stewardship of Public Park Lands & the Public’s Role.\"
