Robert J. Miller Oysterfest

The first Annual Robert J. Miller Oysterfest will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2015, at The Woodland, 60 Woodland Rd, Maplewood from 12 noon to 8 pm. This event is designed to celebrate a special man and raise awareness about melanoma. Bob Miller was a proud Maplewood resident for more than a decade. He lived near Maplewood Village, where he and Grace were raising their four young girls. Bob was a world-class architect who had just started his own architecture firm in New York City. He passed away in March of 2014 after a 2 year battle with melanoma. The Robert J. Miller Oysterfest will take place on the grounds of The Woodland in Maplewood. Bands scheduled to play include The Shearson Sisters, Brian Kirk and the Jirks and Maplewood’s own Lisa Rott and All Terrain Band. An exclusive V.I.P. lounge will be available with wine and Irish whiskey samplings in addition to all-inclusive food and an open bar. Free melanoma screenings will take place from 1 pm - 4 pm.
