Presentation on Common Core and PARCC test

Common Core State Standards (CCSS) is a hot topic in education. These standards define the knowledge and skills that students should gain throughout their K-12 education. New in the 2014 - 2015 school year, is the replacement of the NJ Ask test with PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers). This new standardized test aims to measure the skills and knowledge students need to succeed in college and careers, as well as produces timely information, allowing teachers to tailor instruction to students’ needs.
