Playhouse Preschool Open House

Playhouse - a Cooperative Preschool and Kindergarten, established in 1951 Playhouse offers a nurturing and creative preschool experience, emphasizing learning through play for children ages 2 ½ through 6. A child’s emotional and social skills are an important focus as well as the process of developing the skills for thinking and problem solving. Full-Day and Partial-Day programs with Flexible Schedules are available. Tuition is based on a sliding scale, according to family income. Playhouse also runs an 8-week Summer Camp Program. Families are welcome to visit the school during our Open House on Sunday, January 25th from 3:00 to 4:00PM. Also, tours can be scheduled for weekdays while school is in session. Registration for the coming school year (September through June) begins in November. All applications received by February 15th will be included in a lottery drawing. Families will be notified the last week of February of the status of their application. If you miss the deadline, please contact us as we continue to accept applicants on a first-come first-served basis, while space is available.
