Plastic Toy Collection for Children in Need

Second Chance Toys is an extraordinary charity that is working to put toys in the hands of underprivileged children, while helping to keep thousands of pounds of nonbiodegradable waste out of our landfills. SCT rescues, cleans and redistributes gently used plastic toys to children in need. This family fun program teaches children about spring cleaning, sustainability, philanthropy, and helping the less fortunate, all at the same time. Second Chance Toys calls it recycled love – and you and your family can help. Second Chance and 1-800-GOT-JUNK? have partnered together to host a large toy drive throughout the Northeast called GOT TOYS?, during the month of April. Opening their doors to the community, the crews at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? will collect and then deliver toys to organizations benefiting children in need. Drop off locations for gently used plastic toys have been established in your area.
