Come run or walk with us September 17, 2022!

For 19 years, the Newstead 5K race has kicked off the new school year in South Orange-Maplewood, attracting hundreds of enthusiastic runners and walkers for a morning of healthy activity, connection and fundraising. We’re thrilled to be able to run together again this fall. Of course, if you’re not around that morning, you can join ‘virtually’ by running or walking when and where you’d like.

The race will begin at the South Mountain Annex at 9:00 AM on September 17th, with chip-timing provided by CompuScore. Race registration will open August 1st. Participants will get our popular race T-shirts (while supplies last).
