This brief workshop can help you: • Learn to respond more mindfully and less reactively • Understand your reactivity and triggers • Learn and practice tools to help you feel more present and connected with your family • Develop more confidence in your parenting strategies and choices We will also discuss common parenting issues, such as listening, the differences between consequences and punishment, and the importance of modeling patience. Through his private practice, workshops and psychotherapy groups, he helps people relate differently to difficult feelings and behaviors, make deeper connections with themselves and others, and achieve results in their lives. \"The wonderful gift of mindfulness is that we can stop ourselves and ask: What am I feeling? What is it like from my child\'s point of view? When you can do that, you often see things that you didn\'t let yourself see before because you were so caught up in the reactive mode, which is very limiting.\" — Myla Kabat-Zinn
