Memorial Day Parade- NEW ROUTE

Join us Monday, May 30, 2022 for a celebration of our veterans.

The Township of Maplewood’s annual Memorial Day Parade is back this year on Monday, May 30. The parade will begin at 9:00am stepping off at Parker Avenue between Prospect and Maplewood Avenues by the Columbia High School parking lots.

We will follow an updated route up to Maplewood Avenue, through Maplewood Village, down Baker Street slightly and under the Baker Street Bridge, left onto Dunnell Road past the train station, right onto Oakview Avenue, through the park, and across Valley Street to the front of the Maplewood Municipal Building for a ceremony. Let’s honor our Veterans!

Marchers are needed and welcome (Veteran’s groups, dignitaries, Scout groups, youth teams, bands, public safety cars and trucks, etc.). Please contact Township Clerk Elizabeth J. Fritzen at twpclerk@twp.maplewood.nj.us to indicate that your group will be marching in the parade.
