Meet the Monks

Join us for a community reception for the Buddhist monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery in Tibet, who will be creating a piece of mandala sand art at the Woodland. A speaker representing the monks will give a short background talk about their lives and the mandala project, then attendees will have a chance to ask questions and interact with the monks. Free and open to the public.Refreshments will be served, courtesy of The Able Baker and Friends of the Maplewood Library. Tuesday, August 11 7:00 pm at Main Library Enter through the lower front entrance, behind the flag pole.
