Meet Me in Morristown

WHO: Morristown Businesses & Area Artists and Entertainers WHAT: Event designed to encourage customers to walk the downtown, shop & dine while being entertained on Morristown’s sidewalks. Morristown Partnership and Morris Arts have partnered to help to make Meet Me in Morristown a successful event that will promote and encourage more people to come to the downtown area to shop and dine on the last Thursday’s of the month during June, July, August and September. Businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the town-wide sidewalk permit and host sidewalk sales and/or demonstrations. Selected visual artists will set up their tables to showcase their art and selected musicians will dot the downtown area providing a lively, authentic and unique experience featuring local artists and musicians that have been invited to participate. Morristown will be joining some of the country’s most livable towns by using arts and culture to promote and strengthen our downtown economy. Details subject to change. WHERE: Downtown Morristown WHEN: Last Thursdays in June (26), July (31), August (28) & September (25). TIME: Sidewalk Sales: 11:00am - 9:00pm, Entertainment: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
