Maplewood Library Groundbreaking and Time Capsule Reveal

We invite you to join us in a groundbreaking ceremony for our 21st century library.

The new building will be a state-of-the-art, Leed-certified structure that will serve our community for generations to come.

The groundbreaking will take place on Saturday, October 1 at 11:00 am. There will be music with the MMS Select Chorus, a children’s activity, refreshments, giveaways and a brief ceremony featuring our partners and elected officials. A highlight of the event will be the opening of our 1955 Time Capsule, buried at the time of the library’s last renovation.
