Maplewood Ideas Festival Filmmakers' Panel

IDEAS FESTIVAL Maplewood Library wraps up its Centennial Year with the first annual Maplewood Ideas Festival and Maplewood Literary Award. For a full lineup of programs, go to www.maplewoodlibrary.org Filmmakers Panel Academy Award-winning producer/director Alex Gibney will be joined by accomplished filmmakers Jennie Amias & Susan Motamed. Gibney’s work includes the Oscar-winning Taxi to the Dark Side, We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks, and most recently The Armstrong Lie. Amias has produced many documentaries, including No End in Sight and Enron:The Smartest Guys in the Room (with Gibney). Motamed’s wrote and produced Girl Adopted, and her credits include Lightning in a Bottle and The Trials of Henry Kissinger. The panel will be facilitated by Maplewood Librarian Amanda Eigen.
