MAPLEWOOD IDEAS FESTIVAL Maplewood Library wraps up its Centennial Year with the first annual Maplewood Ideas Festival and Maplewood Literary Award. Art & Music Reception Join us for a reception with live music to celebrate our April exhibit of work by Maplewood artist Nette Forne Thomas. Says Thomas: “The focus and direction of my art revolves around the idealization of “woman” and societal views of a perceived role and status, which transcends ethnic, cultural, and economic barriers.” Live music will be provided. The artist will give a talk at 1:30, and refreshments will be served. Ms. Forne Thomas’s work will be on exhibit through April 30. Saturday, April 12 1:30 pm in the Adult Room at Main Library
