Born in China, 23-year-old clarinetist Weixiong Wang is a member at the Albany Symphony Orchestra. He is the winner of several international competitions, including First Prize in the 2010 AudiMozart Woodwind Competition in Bolzano, Italy, winner of the 2014 Juilliard Concerto Competition, and the 2011 International Crescendo Award in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
