JLP Lag B’ Omer Carnival @ TBA

The Jewish Learning Program Lag B’ Omer Carnival @ Temple B’nai Abraham, 300 E Northfield Road, Livingston, will be held on Thursday, May 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM . Children must be accompanied by an adult. What is Lag B’Omer you ask? It is the 33rd day of the counting of the Omer, the time between Passover and the receiving of the Ten Commandments on Shavuot. Traditional Jews use this as the only day, that parties and celebrations are allowed between Passover and Shavuot. In Israel, everyone celebrates with picnic, bonfires and field trips and parties, so we welcome the opportunity to introduce our entire community to this lesser know tradition. There will be games and inflatables provided by “Bounce On In Events.” Admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. There will be food items and drinks available for additional purchase.
