The Garden State: Where Ideas Grow Maplewood Library will celebrate Jersey’s 350th Anniversary with a talk by Linda Barth, author of A History of Inventing in New Jersey: From Thomas Edison to the Ice Cream Cone. New Jersey inventors and innovators have changed the lives of people around the world. Hundreds of thousands of new ideas got their start right here. What makes New Jersey the state where ideas grow?
