Help Needed for Essex County Holiday Lights @ Turtle Back Zoo Donations Friday to Sunday nights

What: Help Needed for Holiday Lights Festival at Turtle Back Zoo to Collect and Sort Donations of non-perishable food items; new, unwrapped toys; and new or gently used winter coats Where: 560 Northfield Ave, West Orange, NJ 07052 When: On Friday to Sunday nights between Nov 18, 2016, to January 1, 2017, from 4pm - 9pm (excluding 12/24 and 12/25/16). Sign-ups are in one hour blocks between 4 and 9PM. HELP: To collect the items (non-perishable food items; new, unwrapped toys; and new or gently used winter coats.) and sort them into bins, and then put them into bags into the box truck for transportation. HOW: As in the past, collected items will be donated to several organizations that provide assistance to the needy. There will be a pop up canopy and multiple bins for collecting food/toys/coats at the two donation sites (zoo entrance and education center entrance near the tree top experience) and a box truck near the zoo entrance for putting in sorted bags. Who: Groups, Families, etc. are welcome as groups or as individual youth with adult supervision.
