Healthy Families Workshop Series - Making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice

EcoSpaces Education, an educational program of Philip’s Education Partners , will host a series of free Healthy Families Workshops throughout the year. The first in the series, Making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice, is Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at 6:00 PM on the Philip’s Academy-Newark campus located at 342 Central Avenue, Newark 07103. Dr. Deborah Lewison-Grant, Executive Director of FoodFight will be the guest presenter. These workshops will engage our communities around Health and Wellness through a better understanding of nutrition, cooking and healthy choices around food. With the support of the Whole Kids Foundation, the first workshop in the series will include answers to the following questions: Are you worried about your family’s health? Do you believe that your children’s diet impacts how they perform in school and beyond? Do you find it hard to make healthy eating easy for you and your family? Are you overwhelmed by conflicting health claims on T.V. and in the market?
