This electrifying performance, a tribute to old-school hip-hop and the trend-setting artists associated with the New York City-based Fever Records, revives some of the greatest music and the most incredible improvisational moves in the history of American pop. The lineup of performers, a veritable who’s-who of classic freestyle, includes hit-makers Stevie B (“Party Your Body,” “Spring Love”), TKA (“Maria,” “Scars of Love ”), George Lamond (“Bad of the Heart,” “Rob Base,” “It Takes Two”), Judy Torres, Nocera, Cece Peniston, Robin S, Johnny O, Sweet Sensation, Noel, Coro and David (from Nice & Wild). Freestyle & Old School Extravaganza rocked Radio City Music Hall in a sold-out engagement last winter – and it’s sure to blow the roof off NJPAC’s Prudential Hall when it arrives this season.
