Food For Thought Foodie Book Discussion Series

Food For Thought Food for Thought, a book discussion series featuring recent writing on food, with refreshments provided by local eateries, will have its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, June 4, from 7-8:30 pm in Maplewood Memorial Main Library’s Durand Room. The book we will discuss at this meeting is Mastering the Art of Soviet Cooking: A Memoir of Food and Longing by Anya Von Bremzen. The Maplewood restaurant Verjus has graciously agreed to provide canapés. In October, we will begin reading a foodie book monthly. Titles will be presented at the June meeting.
