DONOVAN 50 Anniversary Tour of “Sunshine Superma

Donovan, music legend and one of the world’s most consummate solo performers, makes a stop at SOPAC on the 50th Anniversary Tour of Sunshine Superman. Donovan’s hit single “Sunshine Superman” reached #1 on The Billboard Charts in 1966 and his album of the same name is considered a classic masterpiece. The album was described during Donovan’s 2012 induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as “single-handedly initiating the Psychedelic revolution.” Sunshine Superman introduced “flower power” and the first fusions of Folk, Classical, Jazz, Indian, Celtic, Arabic, and Caribbean to the world. Donovan and his album also introduced Eastern philosophies and meditation to the Western world.
