Creative Writing Workshop for Teens

Youth will enjoy trying their hands at poetry, short stories, essays, and more in this creative writing workshop for teens ages 12 -17. The four-week workshop will be conducted by author/writer/editor Sonya Kimble-Ellis at Geralyn\'s Art Studio in Maplewood. Held between 6:30pm - 7:30pm, the sessions will take place March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. The workshop fee is $100 per student. As an editor and writer, her articles have appeared in the NY Daily News, Scholastic\'s classroom magazine, Patch, Matters, and other publications and Web sites. She is currently a writing facilitator for the developmentally disabled.
