Coffee House Discussions engage South Orange/Maplewood residents and others in timely, small-group discussions about issues related to race in local coffee house settings . The first discussion for 2016 will consider why some sports and other extracurricular activities reflect SOMA’s diversity and others do not. Do extracurriculars bring students of different races together or are they contributing to friendship segregation? What can we do to foster diverse representation in extracurriculars? Come to offer your opinions and to hear the thoughts of others. Free & open to the public. For more information, visit www.twotowns.org or call 973-761-6116.
