Season of our Rejoicing! Come and Celebrate Sukkot at the Temple B'nai Abraham’s Sukkot Block Party sponsored by TBA Jewish Leaning Program (JLP) and The Early School,—the time of year called the season of our joy, z'man simchatenu — on Sunday, October 16, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Stop by to share in the fun. Join us for a morning of music, food, Sukkot activities and crafts. Shmooze with friends, new and old, meet members of the TBA congregational family while enjoying this Sukkot party featuring arts and crafts for all ages to help decorate the Sukkah. Fulfill the Mitzvah of shaking the lulav and etrog in the Sukkah. Continue celebrating Sukkot, on Monday, October 17, at 10:00 AM, when Temple B'nai Abraham, Livingston will hold services in observance of the holiday of Sukkot, Feast of Booths. The word "Sukkot" means "booths." Historically, Sukkot commemorates the forty-year period during which the children of Israel were wandering in the desert and lived in temporary dwellings (Sukkahs).
