Artist, teacher and 1991 graduate of Columbia High School, BISA BUTLER is well known for her quilted portraits and designs, some of which have been displayed at the Smithsonian and Epcot Center, Disney World. Butler will explain how emotion and heritage are communicated through fabric art. She will share the stories behind her many pieces and involve the audience in the creative process.
