Biblical Botany Grows @ TBA

Temple B’nai Abraham’s Congregational Learning presents a workshop on “Biblical Botany” on Tuesday, April 21, 7:00 PM with Cantor Jessica Epstein, at the temple, located at 300 E Northfield Road, Livingston. Steve Delman is TBA Congregational Learning chair. Learn about the landscape of Ancient Israel and how it affected both the history and theology of the Israelites. By understanding the over 125 references to native trees, plants and herbs, deepen your understanding of the lives and rituals of our ancestors. Students will also have the chance to visit a “Biblical Garden” (field trip date TBD) and do some “hands on” planting of biblical herbs in this workshop.This class is free and open to the community, but registration is requested.
