Bark for Babies

The March of Dimes is hosting its first annual dog walk, Bark for Babies, on Sunday September 27 at Brookdale Park in Bloomfield. The festivities for dogs, families and dog-lovers include local vendors, entertainment, contests, prizes and more. Registration opens at 11:00 am and the walk begins at 12:00 pm. Preregistration is available at www.marchofdimes.org/newjersey. Admission is adult $25 ($30 day-of), children under 12 $10, and each dog $5. Monies raised will benefit the March of Dimes, which is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. Its mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The walk is sponsored by Pharachem Laboratories.
