Art Reception: Caryn Rosenberg, photography

Join us at Maplewood Library for a reception to celebrate our December exhibit by Caryn Rosenberg. Artist\'s Statement: My interest in photography began when I was in High School, shooting pictures for our High School Yearbook, and it continues to grow. While I admire many photographers, Walker Evans and Duane Michals are my most influential. Duane Michals wrote: “No one has ever photographed a nude before you have, no one has ever photographed a pepper”. This line has inspired me to look through my lens and look at my subject as if it was the first time I would shoot a portrait or flower or pepper. Caryn\'s work will be on display at Main Library through December. Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
