\"The Future of Books in the Age of Google Glass\" is the subject of a talk by Allan Hoffman, Star-Ledger technology columnist and author, at the Friends of the Maplewood Library\'s Annual Meeting. Mr. Hoffman has been writing his column about the web, Internet culture and personal technology since 1995. As a freelance writer, his work has appeared in scores of newspapers, magazines and online publications. He has also appeared on CNN, CSPAN and NPR\'s \"All Things Considered.\" The Friends\' Annual Meeting will take place on Monday, April 21, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall, Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker street. A short business meeting will precede Mr. Hoffman\'s presentation, followed by refreshments and an informal social hour. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
