A Woman's Space

Many women describe feeling overwhelmed by the societal expectations that are being placed on them to be all things to all people. Trying to balance their traditional caregiving role with outside jobs, family demands, and others’ expectations of them allows little time for cultivating their own hidden interests and practicing self-care. This group will provide a space for women to talk about a host of different issues with the support of other like-minded women. Topics related to fostering healthy relationships, balancing family life and outside obligations, enhancing self-image, and easing stress will be discussed. This group will meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Studio at Wellspring Health Collective, 697 Valley Street (Lower Level), Maplewood, NJ, beginning on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
