A Day in the Hudson Valley

Join us for a spring day in the Hudson Valley. Our first stop will be the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, NY, where we’ll tour the kitchens, whetting our appetites as we watch talented young chefs at work, and then enjoy a wonderful three-course lunch at the CIA’s American Bounty restaurant. After lunch, we’ll peruse the gourmet gift shop. From the CIA we will venture to the Vanderbilt Mansion and tour this majestic estate built for and owned by the wealthiest family in America. The Mansion boasts pavilions, formal gardens and coach houses, all designed by architects McKim, Mead and White. Space is limited. Registration deadline: April 6. Course: 148. Fee: $126.
