at The Ethical Culture Society of Essex County announces the Opening Reception for the Sandy Relief Fund Art Show to raise funds . Tina Kelley at 8 PM reads from the book she co-authored with Kevin Ryan, \"Almost Home: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope\", about Covenant House. The indomitable Jeanine Rosh, in what is expected to be another of her tour de force performances, plays piano. The Opening Reception is an invitation for residents and artists of local communities to learn about and become involved in this marathon effort, the Sandy Relief Fund Art Show, that will take place over the next six months at the Society, from Saturday, December 15, 2012 to Monday, June 17, 2013. Current artists include: Yasmeen Anderson • Karen Bokert • Eva Bouzard-Hui • Barbara Krales Cotler • Lee Doumanis • Rosemarie Gelber • Rebecca Gelman • Rita Gelman • Teresa Helmkamp Artists’ queries are invited by the curator. Works in the art show are offered as premiums for specified donations to the Society’s Sandy Relief Fund.
