Participate in the Coalition on Race\'s community read and discussion event on November 19th at 7:30 pm at The Woodland (previously Woman’s Club of Maplewood), 60 Woodland Rd., Maplewood. The book for discussion is The Price of Paradise: The Cost of Inequality and a Vision for a More Equitable America by David Troutt who is also professor and director of the Center on Law in Metropolitan Equity (CLiME) at Rutgers Law School – Newark. Professor Troutt will read excerpts from his book and share his thoughts on its implications for our community. Attendees will form small groups for further discussion and share final highlights with the entire group. Reading part or the entire book is encouraged, but not required. Supporting sponsors for this event include both the South Orange and the Maplewood Memorial Pubic Libraries and [words] Bookstore. The libraries will have print and digital copies available for loan and [words] Bookstore in Maplewood will have copies for purchase at a discount.
