1978 Annual Friends Show Opening Reception

Maplewood 1978 Arts Center Annual Friendship Show Gallery 1978 celebrates its Friends with an annual exhibit dedicated to and featuring its supporters. The exhibition features nearly 40 talented artists who are Friends of Gallery 1978. On view this year are a wide range of media in 2D & 3D, in style from photography to abstraction, in form from jewelry to sculpture to print. A number of new artists have entered this year and many favorites are returning! The continued support and participation of the Friends of 1978 help to make Maplewood a vibrant and creative arts community. As a special feature for the opening party, artist Nancy Jackson’s ornately embellished Honda Civic will be parked on Springfield Avenue in front the gallery.
