The Pierro Gallery of South Orange presents 11-Point Perspective, an exhibition of eleven members of the art faculty of the South Orange-Maplewood Public Schools. The exhibition will take place January 21- February 20 at the Pierro Gallery, 5 Mead Street, South Orange. The opening reception will take place on January 21, 7-9pm. There will be a free Artists’ Talk and Tour on February 7, 7:00-9:00pm. In addition to being art educators, all participants are practicing artists who have shown in New York City and throughout the country. 11-Point Perspective includes paintings, drawings, photography, installation, printmaking and fiber arts, celebrating the artists’ multiple ways of viewing the world. Participating artists are: Lisa Conrad, Kate Dodd, Jon Fisher, Paul Gibson, Ellen Hark, Laura Kruglinski, Lisa MacPherson, Larry McKim, Nan Ring, Mara Rubin, and Ellen Weisbord. The show was curated by Sandy Martiny, Larry McKim and Mara Rubin. The Pierro Gallery of South Orange is on the second floor of the Baird Center, 5 Mead Street, South Orange, NJ. Gallery hours are M-TH 11am-4pm and Saturday 1pm-4pm. The gallery presents up to seven exhibitions a year along with related interpretive programs that are free to the public. Exhibitions represent the work of diverse contemporary professional artists and emphasize local and regional points of view.
