PT After School Nanny for 2 (April Start)

We have a truly great family in Madison who is searching for a long term, part time, live out nanny for their 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter.

The schedule:

Part time

Split shift possible if the nanny wants- the afternoon is the priority, but morning hours are available as an add-on

3pm-7:30/8pm (willingness to stay a bit later for an occasional date night)

Monday-Friday

The ideal start date is April and the family is hoping for a long term commitment.

Both children are in school during the day. The oldest is in elementary school until 3:15pm and the youngest will join him at the same school in the Fall. For now, she is in preschool (through August) and needs to be picked up at 4pm. She LOVES cooking so it would be great if a nanny who was helping with some light meal prep would be able to include her in this activity. Both children are smart and determined. They are enrolled in a few activities, but most occur on the weekends.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Communicative, reliable, patient, calm, engaging, hands on, comfortable setting boundaries
• Household- grocery shopping, dry cleaning, basic tidying up and cleaning up everyday messes (someone who is detail oriented), meal prep for the kids (simpler meals)
• Driving required in the nanny car, but a family car can be available for the perfect fit
• Nanny must remain up-to-date on the Covid vaccine, booster, flu + MMR

Mom and Dad work a hybrid schedule.

The family has no pets.

The family is offering a generous weekly pay based on the guaranteed hours along with paid vacations, holidays, and sick/personal days. On the books only.
