Is your child about to start Computer Science classes? Are they interested in programming? Do you find them more engaged when they play video games?

Wouldn't it be beneficial if they could actually make their own game while learning to code?

If so, come meet me for a FREE 1-on-1 Game Development lesson at the Millburn Public Library.

Your child will immediately learn the basics of programming, critical thinking, and design while developing their own 2D game - perfect for Computer Science preparation!

What Is Covered In The First Lesson:

  1. If/Then Logic Statements & Understanding
  2. Global Variables, Instance Variables
  3. At the end of 75 minutes, we will have completed our very own game

Why Learn Game Development?

  1. Have playable results to show your work that you can't get with just Computer Science lessons
  2. Universal programming skills that can apply to web development, software engineering, and other STEM fields
  3. Develop a keen eye on how to design & identify what makes a game feel like a game

Why 1-on-1 Tutoring?

  1. Individualized attention
  2. Go at your own pace (making sure every concept is understood before moving on)
  3. Faster results and hyper focus on what is most important to each student
