FT Independent Nanny for 2 (Immediate Start)

We have a great family in Summit searching for a long term full time live out Nanny-Family Assistant. There are 2 children: a 5yo girl and a 3yo girl.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm for a total of 50 guaranteed hours per week. Occasional weekends and overnights are available as well.

Start date is ASAP but they are focused on finding the right long term fit so there is some flexibility. The family would love a commitment for multiple years into the future (ideally 5+ years)!

A Nanny who is active and engaging but also patient and calming will be a great fit! The children are very sweet and affectionate but also active, smart, and strong willed so a nanny who loves being outdoors and implementing interactive crafts/learning activities will thrive in this role!

The older child has recently been diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder and is receiving weekly occupational therapy. A nanny who is patient and completely invested in the development and growth of both children is needed. Special needs experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Both parents work outside of the home and both children attend preschool/school each day.

Family Assistant tasks including light housekeeping and organization, laundry, errand running, and light meal prep is needed. These tasks will be a large portion of the nanny’s role when both of the children are in school.

Interested candidates should be:

-Fully Vaccinated and Boosted for COVID, up to date on TDAP, and willing to get yearly flu shot

-Comfortable using their own car for local driving.

-Willing to occasionally travel with the family on domestic and international trips.

-Comfortable with dogs as the family may get a dog in the future

-Experienced with infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children as mom and dad are considering expanding their family with another child in the future.

The family are offering a generous weekly salary based off of the guaranteed hours along with paid vacation and holidays.
