Driver for kids ~2 hours/day to bring our kids from school to aftercare

About the job:

We're a small group of parents looking for a someone available for 1-2 hours every school day, from roughly 2:30pm-4pm, to pick up our kindergarteners from elementary school in Maplewood and transport them to aftercare in South Orange.

* This would be every school day, for the entire school year.

* The driver will need to meet the kids and their teachers outside the school, bring the kids to the car, drive them to aftercare, walk them into aftercare and check in with the aftercare folks.

* We'd like the driver to text the families (group text is fine) when they arrive at the school, again when all the kids are picked up, and again when all the kids are dropped off at aftercare.

* The aftercare is about 10 minutes' drive from the school.  School lets out at ~3:20pm, but the driver will need to arrive early (around 3pm) to find a place to park.

About you:

* Ideally you are either a college student, parent, or retiree, not looking for a full time job, but rather for some part time work for a little extra income.

* Have a clean driving record.

* Must be able to be absolutely dependable and punctual, consistently at the school well before dismissal time to pick up the kids, every day.

* A proactive communicator.  If you are sick or otherwise can't make it some day, that's absolutely fine -- just let us know as far in advance as possible so we can shift work schedules.

* You do NOT need to have a minivan.  We have a minivan you can use!

* Preferably we'd like you to have some experience with kids, either having had kids of your own or history of babysitting etc.

Pay:

* Around $30/day
