Wood blinds - w/o spending a fortune?

looking for wooden blinds that can compete w/ Smith & Noble in quality and appearance, but not breaking the bank (like Smith & Noble does).  I don't love the faux wood blinds at Home Depot...etc

Thanks!

I have, really, 47 windows in my house! For the entire first floor wooden blinds I used Select.Blinds.com.

Though maybe not as low in price as HD, I was very pleased and they were affordable.

It's been many years but we were pleased with our purchases from Blinds to Go on Rte 22.  No idea how they compare in quality with S&N.

I actually just got 8 from Home Depot online. The first ones I ordered were junky but i didn’t see all the sizes I needed in the upgraded version. I didn’t want to go custom route—didn’t want anyone coming in and wanted to be able to return if needed. Ultimately I spent under $400 for 8, in sizes from 23 to 39” wide. These are in a room that has paneling and wood trim and I intend to touch up the stain a bit.
I went with the mahogany faux wood since the paneling is dark and although the color of the blinds is slightly darker and warmer, when they’re up they look really good and installation was not difficult.
the pic below is the two smaller ones. The larger ones are each in a bank of three windows. These are cordless and any comparable options I saw were at least double in price.

Thanks. I’m very pleased. They’re a million times better than the first set. I was lucky that my dimensions worked well enough with standard sizes.

We also have had good experiences with Blinds to Go on 22.

One caveat -- if you measure yourself, be very precise and very careful.  Make sure you understand what you are measuring.  these things are custom made and not returnable if you screw it up.

Also, think about valance length.  We ended up buying a second set of valences because we decided we wanted the valence to be longer than the blind and the default was the same length as the blind.  The things you don't think  about...
