My father-in-law was there for 8 weeks(he is now home) and the care was excellent. Although he didn't like being there, he stated that the food was good and that everything was very clean. Also having it so close was great and enabled my wife and her siblings (all in Maplewood) to visit nearly every day.

RCH
A little bit of a drift but would you know if Winchester accepts residents in independent living if they need (and have) a full time aid? Thanks.
Thank you for your feedback. Friend was admitted to Winchester Gardens Rehab today.

A friend who is NOT a resident at Winchester Gardens is about to be released from the hospital and into a rehabilitation facility. She is considering going to Winchester Gardens since she lives close by and would be able to stay in touch with family and friends more easily. Plan is for her to be released this weekend and her family members have confirmed that a bed in the rehabilitation unit at Winchester Gardens is available for her. However, none of us know how good Winchester Gardens is as a rehabilitation facility. Any feedback from those in the know would be deeply appreciated. PMs are fine if the reader does not want to respond publicly.
